Driving Directions

From Ennis or West Yellowstone, please see the directions below:

  • From downtown Ennis, Drive South on HWY 287 to Varney Cutoff Road

  • From downtown West Yellowstone, Drive North on HWY 287 to Varney Cutoff Road

  • Turn on Varney Cutoff Road

  • Continue on the dirt road for approximately 3.4 miles

  • When you see the Madison Double R gates and sign on the left hand side, turn left onto our property

  • Continue down the road for 1.2 miles following the event signs

Trout Rescue / West Madison Canal

The MRF team meets annually in October, with volunteers for a trout rescue at the Eight Mile FAS, usually scheduled to start at 9AM. STAY TUNED for 2025 Updates

What To Bring: a fish net, polarized sunglasses, and be prepared to wade.
